Data product - P0031.3.1

P0031.3.1 product shows the molar fraction depending on wind speed and direction.
For the given site and species, all the measurements of the given time frame are grouped in 1m/s, 10° sectors. The mean molar fraction (left plots) and the number of points (right plots) of each sector are then calculated, either over the whole timeframe (top plots) or split by season (bottom plots).
Note that the molar fraction is first "un-trended", i.e. the mean is calculated on the residuals of NOAA's fit function (see CCGCRV man page for details).


Details:
  • Data used: Molar fraction of the highest available sampling height (named in header), combined with meteo data (wind speed and wind direction) of the nearest sampling height.
  • Y-axis: species' molar fraction: measured molar fraction minus assigned or calculated molar fraction
  • Timeframe: one rolling year
  • Species: One species per plot, named in left plots' title.
